STATEMENT
My work is mainly based on a visual language system composed of text and image, with the metaphorical structure of adrift and anchor, exploring and expressing the repetition of spaces and layers in experience.
BIO
Willow is an artist, painter, printmaker, sculptor and poet. Willow was born and raised in China, got a BE*in engineering, and is currently pursuing an MFA (Fine Arts) at California College of the Arts (CCA) in San Francisco.
Because Willow had the experience of depersonalization, auditory hallucination and loss of consciousness, philosophizing the question between existence and perception in the experience as a human being is the major subject of Willow's work.
